Imagine Evanescence meets Stone Sour, Static Era is a rock band from Auckland, formed in late 2010.

Static Era are:

Vocalist – Emma G (New Zealander of the Year Local Hero award recipient, honoured in 2012 for inspiring others through her music)

Guitarist – Chris Yong (Tadpole, Redline, Alt TV)

Drummer – Dave Rhodes (Stylus, 29 Blackbirds)

Bassist – Victor Pesch (who has performed in numerous punk/metal bands)
