Cypher Sessions Winter Edition:

Friday June 19th, Ironbar Cafe, 150 Karangahape Rd, Auckland, 9pm-3am.

DJ Exile (Andrew Cook), Exile DJ Entertainment & the Ironbar Cafe presents The Cypher – AK City’s Premium Cypher Event since day dot, providing a platform for talented emcees, singers, poets, beatboxers, spoken word artists and expressionists of the vocal kungfu.

Step into the lush dojo which is Ironbar where wordsmiths twist and tantalise vocal word play to excite and entice your emotive motives.

DJ Exile at the helm holding down the riddim selections, a fine tasty platter of old school beats and pieces mixed with a refreshing nu skool vibe.

This will be the event’s 6th month since its creation in January, showing that there is indeed a necessity for this stage to host our Nu blood coming through and a need for a place where established artists can come to kick it knowing every time the Cypher is popping.

This month is no exception, coming out of the NZ music month of May, emcees / artists are still bubbling to get their music heard and voices recognised.

The Cypher Sessions at the Ironbar, no egos just dope talent, welcome all talented vocalists to hit the spotlight to encourage and foster that raw true hip hop feeling.

At Cypher Sessions Winter Edition, expect a dope night of vocal talent and vibing dance floor for the ladies to get a groove on.
